James is the person I like to have read my scripts the the very most, because I know how much James will show up to my script. Every. Single. Time. Despite being a self described curmudgeon, James is a kind, ridiculously smart, thoughtful dude who is an expert at screenwriting and at making the world's tastiest martini. James is exactly the person from whom you want feedback, because he's great with structure, characters, plot, dialogue, and tone. James has this special way of communicating with his fellow writers. Go with me on this... I know James will put me at ease because he's never been stingy with his passion and excitement for what I've written. I believe it's that same passion, coupled with his expertise, that catapults me back into the work instead of spiraling into a paralytic depression like a Pushteen on a pizza box. Did I mention that writing is hard? Okay, it's also fun -- if you find torture fun. And I do. This just got so weird.
